20 tips to make your performance stress free 

Is stress stopping you from being the best entertainer in your area? Do you mess up everything whenever you get to the stage? Do you want to improve your performance? Just read these totally practical and easy to follow tips and be the best performer in your area.
  1. Always think ahead, be well prepared and plan everything.
  2. Do a bit of exception handling, always walk in with a plan B in your mind in case something goes wrong
  3. Always be punctual and arrive early at the venue. Arriving late at the show is the worst you can do to spoil your performance
  4. I would suggest using GPS for navigation and finding the shortest possible route
  5. Remove complexities, simplify your setup
  6. Memorize your greetings sentence, do a bit of brainstorming for this, find multiple ideas and select the best few for yourself
  7. Create a payment verification for smooth transactions
  8. Simplify your breakdown, create steps for completing the whole process, then further divide each step to simpler steps
  9. Your level of productivity is impacted by your level of organization; disorganization bothers people and causes stress. It also forces you to waste your important time in finding things. Always organize yourself and create systems for your recursive activities
  10. Learn to handle or ignore interruptions during your act, while you are performing there can be multiple factors that would try to divert your attention, the  best that you can do is stay focused on what you are doing and just ignore the issue if handling it in best way is not a viable option.
  11. Make yourself flexible and try to quickly adapt to change, every venue would be different, the environment would be different and the audience would be different, the only thing static would be you and your act, so learn to adapt to the change and go with the flow.
  12. As a performer you can never ignore the importance of communication, always try to keep your message and sentences unambiguous so that you and your audience are on the same page
  13. Incorporate relaxation exercises to your work day routine. You can play soft music, stretch occasionally or go for a walk to reduce stress
  14. Remember the four Ws of entertainment
    • Who is the  main character\
    • What is the act about?
    • Where is it happening?
    • What is wrong, how to fix it?
  15. Develop specific personality for each puppet like dumb, smart, shy , brave and so on
  16. Write natural dialogues, think of what would be naturally said in such a situation
  17. Be innovative, use songs, poems and humor
  18. Use children’s imagination to get the stories across
  19. Review the script to make sure its meets the purpose
  20. Like your greeting sentence, memorize your exit strategy.
